IndusInd EazyDiner Credit Card: Is This the Best Dining Card in India Right Now?

EazyDiner IndusInd Bank Credit Card Review (2026): Benefits, Fees, Real Savings & Honest Verdict

By Satyapal Khakhal, Personal Finance Writer | Last Updated: May 22, 2026
This review is based on publicly available card features from IndusInd Bank's official website, EazyDiner's partner restaurant data, cardholder discussions on r/CreditCardsIndia and CardExpert forums, and fee disclosures verified against IndusInd Bank's Most Important Terms & Conditions (MITC) document as of May 2026.

The EazyDiner IndusInd Bank Signature Credit Card is the most specialised dining card available in India right now. It does one thing — saves you money at restaurants — and it does it better than any general-purpose cashback card currently on the market. But "best dining card" comes with a catch that most reviews skip over entirely: the card's primary discount mechanism only works when you book through the EazyDiner app and pay via PayEazy. Pay with the physical card at the table and the headline benefit largely disappears.

This review covers exactly what you get, what it costs, what the fine print says, and whether the card makes mathematical sense for your spending profile. No vague claims. Just numbers.

How the Dining Discount Actually Works — The Full Mechanism

This is the section most reviews get wrong, so it is worth explaining precisely.

The card bundles a complimentary EazyDiner Prime membership worth ₹2,495 per year. Prime membership gives you access to flat 25–50% discounts at over 2,000 partner restaurants across India. This discount is the foundation of the card's value — but it only applies when you book a table through the EazyDiner app and select the Prime offer at checkout.

On top of the Prime membership discount, there is a second layer: an additional instant 25% discount (up to ₹1,000 per transaction) when you complete payment through the PayEazy option inside the EazyDiner app. This second-layer discount has a monthly cap:

  • ₹2,000 per month if your non-dining spend in the previous calendar month was below ₹30,000
  • ₹5,000 per month if your non-dining spend in the previous calendar month was ₹30,000 or more

So the maximum combined saving in a single month — EazyDiner Prime discount plus PayEazy instant discount — is ₹5,000 for higher spenders.

The critical operational requirement: Both discount layers require booking through the EazyDiner app and paying via PayEazy. If you walk into a partner restaurant and pay with the physical IndusInd card at the POS terminal, the instant 25% discount does not apply. The EazyDiner Prime membership discount may still apply if you have an active booking, but the additional savings layer disappears. This is a real-world friction point that many cardholders discover only after they receive their first bill.

Partner Restaurant Network — What 2,000+ Really Means

EazyDiner Prime gives access to partner restaurants across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, and several other cities. The network includes a mix of casual dining chains, standalone mid-range restaurants, and some premium standalone properties.

The quality of the network varies significantly by city. In Delhi NCR and Mumbai, the partner list is extensive and covers most major dining destinations. In Tier 2 cities or smaller metros, the network is thinner — sometimes limited to a handful of properties. Before applying for this card, it is worth checking the EazyDiner app for partner restaurants in the areas where you actually dine. A large city network on paper means little if your preferred restaurants are not on it.

Partner restaurants are also subject to change. EazyDiner periodically adds and removes properties, and certain restaurants opt out during peak periods like weekends or festive seasons. The discount may not apply on Friday and Saturday evenings at some high-demand restaurants — always check the offer conditions in the app before booking.

Full Benefits Breakdown

Airport Lounge Access

8 complimentary domestic airport lounge visits per year, structured as 2 per quarter. This benefit is accessed via the Visa card network at participating airport lounges. It does not include international lounges. If you fly more than twice per quarter domestically, you will exhaust this benefit, after which lounge visits are chargeable. The lounge benefit alone has a market value of approximately ₹4,800 per year (at roughly ₹600 per visit).

BookMyShow Movie Benefit

2 complimentary movie tickets per month, each capped at ₹200 (face value). The benefit is accessible via BookMyShow when you pay using the IndusInd EazyDiner card. Maximum annual value: ₹4,800 (₹400/month Ɨ 12 months). Note that tickets above ₹200 require you to pay the balance — the benefit is a fixed ₹200 discount per ticket, not a full free ticket for any show.

Reward Points

10 reward points per ₹100 on dining, travel, entertainment, and shopping. 4 reward points per ₹100 on all other eligible spends (excluding fuel, EMI transactions, and certain excluded categories). Each reward point is redeemable at ₹0.20, making the effective cashback rate 2% on accelerated categories and 0.8% on general spends. Points earned are separate from the dining discounts — you earn points even on discounted bills.

Postcard Hotels Renewal Voucher

A voucher worth ₹7,500 valid at Postcard Hotels properties on card renewal. Postcard Hotels is a boutique luxury hotel chain with properties in Goa, Rajasthan, and other premium destinations. The voucher has specific validity and minimum stay conditions — confirm the current terms with IndusInd Bank at the time of renewal.

Fuel Surcharge Waiver

1% fuel surcharge waiver on transactions between ₹400 and ₹4,000 at fuel stations. This is a minor benefit with a low monthly cap — useful for occasional fuel purchases but not a differentiating feature.

Real Savings Calculation — Two Spending Profiles

Rather than presenting a theoretical "ideal user" calculation, here are two realistic spending profiles with honest numbers:

Profile A — Active Restaurant Diner (Metro City)

Spend Category Monthly Spend Benefit Monthly Value
Restaurant dining (via EazyDiner app + PayEazy) ₹8,000 25–35% discount = avg ₹2,400 saved ₹2,400
Other spends (shopping, travel) ₹15,000 4 pts/₹100 at ₹0.20 = 0.8% back ₹120
2 movie tickets/month — ₹200 Ɨ 2 free ₹400
Airport lounge (2 visits/quarter avg) — ₹600/visit Ɨ 8/year ₹400 (annualised)
Total monthly benefit ~₹3,320
Annual benefit ~₹39,840
Annual card cost (fee + GST) ₹3,539
Net annual benefit ~₹36,300

Profile B — Occasional Diner

Spend Category Monthly Spend Benefit Monthly Value
Restaurant dining (1–2 EazyDiner visits) ₹2,500 25% discount = ₹625 saved ₹625
Other spends ₹8,000 0.8% back ₹64
Movie tickets (occasional use) — ₹400 if fully used ₹200 (partial)
Total monthly benefit ~₹889
Annual benefit ~₹10,668
Annual card cost ₹3,539
Net annual benefit ~₹7,129

Profile B still comes out ahead annually, but the margin is narrow enough that any year where you travel less or use the app inconsistently could put the card in negative value territory. The card's economic case is directly proportional to how often you use the EazyDiner app booking flow.

Eligibility & How to Apply

IndusInd Bank has not published specific income eligibility thresholds for this card on their website. Based on cardholder reports and general IndusInd Bank criteria, the typical eligibility requirements are:

  • Minimum age: 21 years (primary cardholder)
  • Salaried applicants: minimum monthly income of approximately ₹50,000–₹75,000 (net)
  • Self-employed applicants: ITR showing minimum annual income of approximately ₹6–8 lakh
  • Good credit score: CIBIL score of 750 or above is recommended
  • Resident Indian with a valid PAN and Aadhaar

Applications are accepted online via IndusInd Bank's website or through bank branches. Processing time is typically 7–10 working days. Verify current eligibility criteria directly on IndusInd Bank's official website before applying, as thresholds can change.

What the Card Does Not Do Well

No honest review is complete without the weaknesses. Here is what this card genuinely falls short on:

No international value. The forex markup of approximately 3.5% makes this card expensive for international transactions. There are no overseas lounge visits, no travel miles, and no hotel transfer partners. If you travel internationally, carry a different card.

Operational friction. The discount requires remembering to book via the EazyDiner app, select a Prime offer, and pay via PayEazy every single time. This is more steps than swiping a cashback card. Cardholders who forget the flow — especially on spontaneous dining occasions or when splitting bills — lose the primary benefit for that visit.

Partner restaurant dependency. If EazyDiner's network in your city is thin, or if your preferred restaurants are not partners, the card's value drops significantly. The base reward rate of 0.8–2% is competitive but not exceptional without the dining discount.

No fee waiver threshold published. Unlike HDFC Swiggy (₹2 lakh spend waiver) or several other cards with clear spend-based fee waivers, IndusInd Bank has not publicly specified a spend threshold at which the ₹2,999 annual fee is waived. This means you should budget for the full fee every year unless your relationship manager confirms a waiver.

Points redemption is not instant cash. Unlike the HDFC Swiggy card where cashback hits your statement directly, EazyDiner IndusInd reward points require active redemption through IndusInd's rewards portal. Points have an expiry date and redemption options are more limited than direct cashback.

Honest Verdict

The EazyDiner IndusInd Bank Signature Credit Card is genuinely one of the best dining cards in India for the right user — and a mediocre card for everyone else. The dividing line is not income or credit score. It is one question: will you actually book tables through the EazyDiner app and pay via PayEazy every time you dine at a partner restaurant?

If the answer is yes — you live in a metro, you dine at mid-range to premium restaurants at least 6–8 times a month, you are willing to use the app booking flow consistently — the card's economics are exceptional. You will recover the ₹3,539 annual fee in the first month or two of active use. The complimentary Prime membership (₹2,495), lounge access (₹4,800 annual value), and movie tickets (₹4,800 annual value) add further value on top of the dining discounts.

If you dine out less than twice a week, prefer spontaneous dining without app pre-booking, live in a city with a thin EazyDiner network, or primarily order food through delivery apps — this card is not built for you. The HDFC Swiggy card at ₹500/year is a better fit.

Rating: 4.1/5 — Excellent for its target user. High operational dependency is its primary weakness.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the annual fee for the EazyDiner IndusInd Bank Credit Card?
The annual fee is ₹2,999 plus GST, totalling ₹3,539. IndusInd Bank has not published a spend-based fee waiver threshold for this card. Confirm current fee waiver conditions directly with IndusInd Bank before applying.

Does the EazyDiner discount work if I pay with the physical card at the restaurant?
No. The additional 25% instant discount (up to ₹1,000 per transaction) only applies when you book through the EazyDiner app and complete payment using the PayEazy option within the app. Paying with the physical card at the POS terminal does not trigger the instant discount. The EazyDiner Prime membership discount (25–50%) still applies for bookings made through the app, but requires the PayEazy payment step for the full benefit.

How many restaurants are part of the EazyDiner partner network?
EazyDiner lists over 2,000 partner restaurants across major Indian cities. The network is strongest in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bangalore. Coverage varies significantly in smaller cities. Check the EazyDiner app for partner restaurants in your specific area before applying for the card.

What is the monthly discount cap on the EazyDiner card?
The monthly instant discount cap is ₹2,000 for cardholders whose non-dining spend in the previous calendar month was below ₹30,000. The cap increases to ₹5,000 per month for cardholders who spent ₹30,000 or more on non-dining transactions in the previous month.

Is the EazyDiner IndusInd Credit Card lifetime free?
No. The standard annual fee is ₹2,999 + GST. Some applicants may receive fee waivers through promotional offers or via their relationship manager, but the card is not offered as lifetime free as a standard feature. Verify with IndusInd Bank directly for any current promotional offers.

What is the difference between the EazyDiner Platinum and Signature variants?
The Signature variant (reviewed here) is the premium version with higher discount caps (up to ₹5,000/month), 8 domestic lounge visits per year, and 2 monthly BookMyShow tickets. The Platinum variant has lower benefits and a lower annual fee. For frequent diners, the Signature's higher monthly discount cap typically makes it the better value despite the higher fee.

Can I use this card for travel or international purchases?
The card offers 8 domestic airport lounge visits per year, which is a useful travel benefit. However, the card has a forex markup of approximately 3.5% on international transactions, making it unsuitable as a travel card for overseas use. For international spending, use a dedicated travel card with low or zero forex markup — such as the HSBC TravelOne.

How do I redeem EazyDiner IndusInd reward points?
Reward points are redeemed through IndusInd Bank's rewards portal (IndusMoments) or via the IndusInd mobile banking app. Points can be redeemed against statement credit, gift vouchers, or merchandise. Each point is valued at ₹0.20 for statement credit redemption. Points have an expiry period — check your card statement or IndusInd Bank's website for current expiry terms.
